Personality and History
Personality:

Yaseen is known to be an observant and intelligent man.  He's extremely perceptive and holds mysticism to him. It seems like he is always a bit distant, cold and aloof. Like he lives in his own little bubble, never in the spotlight. There's a certain feeling of eternal melancholy to him, he is rarely seen without wearing his moniker tired smile.

He presents himself as a different person to the kids and the adults. His students know that his classes are relaxed and interactive. He's known to go to a distance to make them all understand the charm of...charms. Heck, make a fool of himself and entertain his crowd, anything to get them learning and inspired. He is creative and thinks outside of the box, giving freedom to the students too. He likes to keep his classes interactive instead of just forcing students to stuff their noses in a book.

Adults and his inner circle know that he is different. Yaseen has way darker humor than the simple dad jokes he cracks in his lessons. In the days he is relaxed and laid-back, but in the nights he gets all stressed and neurotic. He is an eccentric man, often labeled as crazy or odd by some people. You know what? He's too busy living in his world to care.

History:

Yaseen was born in Sayyidah Zaynab, Syria. His mother was an Egyptian woman, half Veela. His father was a plain muggle doctor. Yaseen had two siblings, Ya'an and Yasmin. He started showing early signs of magic when he was about 2 years old. His mother instantly knew what was going on and tried to hide the fact that Yaseen was different.

He remembers his early childhood years in Syria being very happy. When he was 7, his parents divorced due to his father growing jealousy towards all of the people after his wife. It was at this point when it was revealed to Yaseen that his mother was in fact, half Veela. She couldn't do anything about it! She was just too pretty! Nowadays, Yaseen takes this with humor, thinking that it was actually pretty funny. The divorce did leave a scar in him though.  Yaseen never heard of his brother or father again, it is presumed that they died in the civil war. It was after his beautiful and happy childhood years that everything started going downhill.

Yaseen and his sister moved to Worcestershire with their mother, while his brother and father stayed in Syria. At first, Yaseen found it hard to adapt to the gloomy weather, bland food and the dark humor of the people in there. In the end, aforementioned dark humor did find its way to his heart. As he got near the age of 10, his prepubescent self-was unable to control emotions properly. Lo and behold he would release powers that his mother tried so hard to suppress.

It was when his Hogwarts letter arrived that everything was explained to him. Yaseen was shocked but relieved that everything had an explanation now. During his years in Hogwarts, he excelled in charms while horribly failing history of magic. Nonetheless, he was appointed as the head boy while at Hogwarts. He found his lost happiness again. He went on to educate himself more, traveled around the world and studied charms. He would even make his own spells on the go. In the end, he settled down back in the UK and started as the charms teacher about 8 years ago.[/strike]
