Personality and History

Personality:
Willow is the kind of no-nonsense personality. If you are there to see her she will treat you with little dilly dally. She loves her job and stays dedicated to helping those around her. She is kind and understanding of most things since what she went through to be where she was. She is a determined woman when she wants to be.

History:
Willow was born into a happy family. When she was seven she got into a car accident. It damaged a part of her spine and the nerves in her left leg. She lost all feeling in the limb. From the moment she went to school and started trying to fit back in she was given a long list of things she couldn't do. She was upset and lived under this weight for many years. She had a few friends who tried to help her feel better. When she turned nine strange things started happening. Whenever she'd get really emotional things would move or change or blow away. It freaked her out at first, but she learned to live with it. She thought of it as a secret that made her super special.
She went about life with a newfound excitement. She aimed to prove the world wrong about her. She tried everything and anything she possibly could. Her favorite thing to do was ride a horse. Every Saturday she would go out to her grandparents' house and ride Snowball, an almost pure white stallion who was patient enough while they strapped Willow in. She was happy in her life as it was.
When she was eleven something even stranger happened. An owl sat upon their mailbox with a letter. They thought it might have been a joke, but the letter was addressed to Willow and had their address. Out of curiosity she opened it and found it telling her about a magic school for witches and wizards. She really wanted to believe it was a joke but it explained what had been happening to her. She told her parents about it and she insisted it would be her biggest adventure yet. So she found herself with the necessary supplies and a pet, ready for Hogwarts.
Upon arrival she found much more than she expected. There were so many more children there than she thought. She was incredibly nervous about failing. She knew nothing about magic or wizardry. During the Sorting Ceremony she was sorted into Hufflepuff. She made new friends who knew her struggles of being muggle-born. She studied hard and tried to learn enough to get on track with everyone else.
By her second year she was excelling in all her classes. She managed to get around the school with little difficulty. And as the years went by she advanced farther and farther. When she finally graduated she found her passion in the medical field.
She pursued her dreams and starting learning at Saint Mungo's. She studied under skilled witches and wizards so she could treat her own patients one day. It took her only a year before she was finished training and she was hired as a nurse at Saint Mungo's. She helped to her best ability. A year into her service at Saint Mungo's she learned that Hogwarts needed a new nurse. She saw it as a great chance to serve the school that had brought her so much joy and adventure.

Willow sat on a bed in the medical wing. Her crutch lay on the bed beside her for when she'd need to get up. She reached behind her and fixed the straps of her apron. She loved the uniform they wore. It was - much like the rest of Hogwarts - old fashioned. She loved the older style of things, it was nice and unique. It felt like home now.
She grabbed her crutch and situated it on her lower arm. She gripped the bar that stuck out and stood up as straight as she could. The uniform - her's specifically - stopped at her ankles so she wouldn't trip on it. She walked over to the cabinet and grabbed a set of sheets to change them. A student had recently been released and policy requires the sheets to be changed before the next patient. She walked over to another bed that had rumpled sheets and set hers down. She gripped one edge of the sheets on the bed and peeled them back and into a heap on the floor. She grabbed the new set and and shook it out. She was determined to do it without magic. She could do things without magic. She set it down on the bed and started by tucking in the edge closest to her and moved to do the other three corners. She finally finished and picked up the one on the floor. She put it with the rest of the dirty ones to be washed later.
"Who's next?" She chuckled softly and walked over to a bed with a student sitting on the bed. The young man had a busted nose and bloody lip. She tsked softly and pulled out her wand. She held it out in front of the boy and flicked her wrist softly. "Episkey." The magic took effect and his nose started correcting itself. She heard the bones snap into place. She put her wand away and pulled a rag from her pocket to wipe the blood from his face. "Down to the Headmaster's. If you were in a fight tell him. If you were hit tell him. I don't want to see you broken again." He muttered a quiet 'yes ma'am' and left the medical wing. Another student fixed.
