ANOTHER ONE GRABBED 

BY THE MYSTERIOUS OCTOPUS?

As you may well remember, The Daily Prohpet has been reporting about a series of mysterious disappearances in the Wizarding World for several years. Based on the evidence we have, those still unsolved incidents are not officially treated as connected, but there seem to be several overlaying factors. First, the victims, all young witches and wizard, all seem to be between the age of 15 and 18; they all disappeared during the night under inexplicable circumstances and there was always a strange symbol, an octopuses head with menacing eyes, somewhere in the vicinity. 

The officials have, thus far, provided no explanation for those circumstances, despite their suspicious nature. At the moment of writing, we have several information that similar incidents have been reported within the Muggle community, but we have not been able to gather much concrete information about them. 

Last night, a similar incident occurred on the road to Cardiff, where a young wizard, H. L. (17), disappeared while coming back from a party in the area. A couple of friends had organized a party in a nearby country house and the victim, who lives not far from the location, stated he would walk to his home. He was, as witnesses recount, intoxicated, but not so much that he could not come back home normally. When the boy never arrived home, his family initially contacted his friends and later the Aurors, who soon organized a search party. As of today, the boy is still considered missing and no further information has been provided. Unofficially, a strange octopus mark, carved in a nearby tree, has been found somewhere around the spot where the boy might gave gone missing.
